Registration and Insignia. Lessee shall cause the Aircraft at all times, at its expense, to be duly registered during the Restricted Use Period and, subject to Section 11 of the Refunding Agreement, thereafter under the Federal Aviation Act in the name of Lessor or any successor or assignee, so long as (i) while the Aircraft is registered under the Federal Aviation Act, each of the Lessor or its successors or assigns is a "citizen of the United States" as Lessee agrees at its expense to place such appropriate insignia, plates and other identification ("Lease Identification") in the cockpit of the Aircraft and on each Engine showing title thereto and the Lien of the Indenture as designated by Lessor and as Lessor may from time to time reasonably request. Unless otherwise requested, upon delivery of the Aircraft, Lessee shall fasten or cause to be fastened in the cockpit of the Airframe in a location reasonably adjacent to and not less prominent than the airworthiness certificate for the Aircraft, and on each Engine (if not prohibited by applicable Law), a Lease Identification in the form set forth in Exhibit C hereto or with any other appropriate information in any other form subsequently designated by Lessor to Lessee. Except as provided herein, Lessee will not allow the name of any Person to be placed on the Aircraft or either Engine as a designation that would be reasonably interpreted as a claim of ownership or Lien; provided, however, that Lessee may cause the Airframe and Engines to have placed thereon the customary colors and insignia of Lessee or any Permitted Sublessee under a Permitted Sublease.
Registration and Insignia. Lessee agrees that it will, on behalf of Lessor and at Lessee's expense, forthwith upon delivery of the Aircraft, cause the Aircraft to be duly registered, and at all times thereafter to remain duly registered, in accordance with Title 49 of the United States Code, as amended. Lessor agrees that Lessor or any other person who owns the Aircraft from time to time will be a "citizen of the United States" within the meaning of Title 49 of the United States Code, as amended (or shall otherwise be qualified to register the Aircraft without restricting Lessee's operational use of the Aircraft), so that the Lessee will be able to comply with the requirements of this Article 5(d). Upon delivery of the Aircraft, unless Lessor otherwise directs, Lessee shall fasten or cause to be fastened and maintained in the cockpit of the Aircraft adjacent to the airworthiness certificate for the Aircraft and on each Engine, in a prominent location, metal nameplates satisfactory to Lessor bearing the name of Lessor, as owner, and Mortgagee, as mortgagee, of the Aircraft. Except as above provided, Lessee will not allow the name of any person, firm or corporation to be placed on the Airframe or any Engine as a designation that might be interpreted as a Lien thereon; provided, however, Lessee may cause the Airframe or any Engine to be lettered in an appropriate manner for convenience of identification of the interest of Lessee therein.
Registration and Insignia. Lessee shall maintain in the cockpit of the Airframe adjacent to the airworthiness certificate therein the metal nameplate bearing the Lessor's name, as owner and lessor. Lessee shall affix as promptly as practicable after the Delivery Date and thereafter to maintain on each Engine a metal nameplate bearing the inscription "AMERICAN AIRLINES, INC., OWNER AND LESSOR". Lessee may place its customary colors and insignia on the Airframe or Engines so long as no polished portion of the In-Use Aircraft is painted. The placement of and colors or insignia on the In-Use Aircraft shall be performed by Lessor. Provided that Lessor shall (i) remain a citizen of the United States of America as defined in Section 40102(a)(15) (former 101(16)) of the Act and (ii) cooperate with the Lessee, Lessee shall maintain continued registration of the Airframe in Lessor's name under the Act. Except as set forth in Section 7(h) below, no additional modifications may be made to the Aircraft or any Serviced Engines without the prior written consent of Lessor.
Registration and Insignia. (i) At or prior to the Closing Date (as defined in the Purchase Agreement), at its own cost and expense, and at all times during the term of this Mortgage, Mortgagor shall cause the Aircraft to be duly registered, in the name of Mortgagor in accordance with the Federal Aviation Act, and the Aircraft shall not be registered under the laws of any other country without the prior written consent of Lender.
Registration and Insignia. The Aircraft shall be and shall remain registered under the Transportation Code in the name of Lessor or such Person as Lessor may designate. Upon delivery of the Aircraft, Lessee agrees to place the Lease Identification in the cockpit in a prominent location and to place the Lease Identification on each Engine. Lessee agrees to make such changes to the Lease Identification as Lessor may request from time to time. Lessee will not exercise any control or dominion over the Aircraft or operate or permit to be operated the Aircraft until such Lease Identification has been so placed thereon. Lessee will promptly replace any such marking which has been removed, defaced or destroyed.
Registration and Insignia. (a) Sublessee acknowledges that title to the Airframe shall remain vested in the Head Lessor of the Airframe and title to each Engine shall remain vested in the Head Lessor or Owner of such Engine during the Term. Sublessee shall, at its own expense, maintain the registration of the Aircraft with the FAA to reflect the interest of Head Lessor of the Airframe as owner. Sublessee shall reasonably cooperate with Sublessor, to the extent Sublessee's cooperation is required, in connection with causing any documents evidencing any Lender's interest in the Aircraft pursuant to any Facility Lien to be filed with the FAA. Sublessee agrees to take no action which would result in the Airframe failing to remain duly registered in the name of Head Lessor of the Airframe with the FAA under the Act (it being understood that Sublessee shall not be required to comply with this covenant to the extent that the Head Lessor or Owner of the Airframe fails to comply with its covenants in the Head Lease covering the Airframe and related documents to maintain its citizenship or takes any other action which precludes or prevents such registration from being maintained and makes such compliance by Sublessee impossible).
