REGILIOUS OBSERVANCE. By charging time off to vacation, compensatory time off (for non-exempt employees), or leave without pay, an employee may observe a special or religious holiday if the University determines that work schedules permit.

  • Religious Observance 32.01 The Employer shall make every reasonable effort to accommodate an employee who requests time off to fulfill his or her religious obligations.

  • Religious Observances Members shall be entitled to make reasonable rearrangements of their duties upon due notice to permit them to observe the religious obligations and practices of their faiths.

  • Other Religious Observances (a) Employees who are members of non-Christian religions are entitled to up to two days leave without pay per calendar year to observe spiritual or holy days. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • OBSERVANCE OF THE LAW The Contractor shall comply with all laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations bearing upon the performance of its obligations under the terms of this Contract.

  • Significant Non-Compliance a) A Competent Authority shall notify the Competent Authority of the other Party when the first-mentioned Competent Authority has determined that there is significant non-compliance with the obligations under this Agreement with respect to a Reporting Financial Institution in the other jurisdiction. The Competent Authority of such other Party shall apply its domestic law (including applicable penalties) to address the significant non-compliance described in the notice.

  • ANTI-PROSELYTISM PROVISION No funds provided directly to institutions or organizations to provide services and administer programs under Title 42 United States Code (USC) Section 604a(a)(1)(A) shall be expended for sectarian worship, instruction, or proselytization, except as otherwise permitted by law.
