REFUND INFORMATION. You may withdraw from the program through 60% of your period of financial obligation and receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of the tuition. Your period of financial obligation is indicated on your enrollment agreement. After you study for 60% of your period of financial obligation, no refund is available. For example, if you enrolled for and paid for 12 weeks of study (48 class days of financial obligation), you could withdraw and receive a prorated refund through the first day of the 8th week (29 class days of financial obligation). After the first day of the 8th week there would be no refund available (29/48 = 60.4% = over 60% of period of financial obligation). If after your original 12 weeks you extended your studies for 4 additional weeks and paid tuition for these 4 weeks (16 class days of financial obligation), you could withdraw and receive a prorated refund through the first day of the 3rd week (9 class days of financial obligation). After the first day of the 3rd week there would be no refund available (10/16 = 62.5% = over 60% of period of financial obligation). Prorated refunds are calculated by the day based on your last date of attendance (LDA). For in-person students, the last date of attendance (LDA) is defined as the date on which the student last attended class. For online students the last date of attendance (LDA) is defined as the date on which the student attended their last synchronous class session or the date on which they submitted their last asynchronous assignment, whichever occurred last. Refunds can only be paid to the person or company from whom the funds originated and in the form of the original payment. The application fee is nonrefundable. If you received a discount for enrolling in and paying for a set number of weeks in advance and withdraw early, your discount will be deducted from the amount refunded. REFUND INFORMATION. The Application Fee is not refundable except in instances where applicants withdraw their application for admission before an admissions decision is made. Applicants may write a formal request for a refund of the Application Fee to their personal Admissions Advisor. If approved, refunds will be available to the applicant within 30 days of the submission of the formal request and the refund will be issued using the same payment method used by the applicant to pay the fee. Students have the right to withdraw from a course of instruction at any time. Students who remain in their course beyond the course withdrawal deadline are not eligible for a refund of the Assessment Fee. The Assessment Fee is only refundable in instances where the University has canceled a student's course or if the student's work was not assessed at all during the course. The Student Tuition Recovery Fund fee paid on behalf of eligible Californians is not refundable and any Course Assessment Fee refund will be reduced by the amount of any applicable Student Tuition Recovery Fund fee. REFUND INFORMATION. Students who wish to withdraw from the program or course must submit a written request for voluntary withdrawal to the xxxx or program director, who will evaluate the student’s request. After completing the required documentation and obtaining the xxxx’x or program director’s approval, an eligible student may receive partial credit of the tuition, according to the following formula: • Drops during the first week of the semester in which classes begin 75 percent • Drops during the second week of the semester in which classes begin No refund The withdrawal period starts in the first week of the semester and ends three weeks prior to the end of the semester. Students who drop after the first week of the semester will not be entitled to receive a refund. Students may not be given refunds for portions of tuition paid by financial aid funds. As appropriate, the respective financial aid programs will be credited in accordance with federal regulations. Students should notify the Office of Student Financial Assistance prior to withdrawing to determine the effect this will have on financial aid. For complete withdrawals, please refer to the Return of Title IV Funds section of the student handbook. Failure to comply with these requirements could jeopardize future receipt of Title IV student assistance funds at any institution of higher education the student may attend. In as much as faculty arrangements and other financial commitments are made by California International Theological Seminary for the entire academic year in advance, the following refund policy has been adopted in order to distribute the loss equitably when a student finds it necessary to withdraw from the seminary: Withdrawal within first week 40% Withdrawal within second week 20% Withdrawal after second week None Refunds are computed from the beginning of the quarter, based upon the total tuition which has been paid by the student for the quarter classes in which the student is enrolled. There are no refunds for application or registration fees. No refunds are made for deferred payment fees.

REFUND INFORMATION. If a student withdraws after instruction begins, but before the end of the first month of enrollment or re-enrollment (that is, after the cancellation period described above), they are entitled to a full refund of all charges, less $250. If the student withdraws at the end of the first month, or later they will be refunded tuition on a pro rata per day basis less the $250 non-refundable enrollment fee. If a student withdraws during the first 60 % (percent) of an enrollment period as specified in their enrollment agreement, the student will receive a pro-rata refund on a daily basis of any tuition already paid beyond the date of withdrawal, minus $250 of the $600 enrollment fee. If the student withdraws after 60% (percent) of the enrollment agreement period, the student will receive a pro-rata refund on a daily basis, minus the $600 enrollment fee. That is, in no case will the student be responsible to pay tuition for days for which they have contracted in the Enrollment Agreement, when they have chosen to withdraw before the end of that period. WISR will also refund money collected for a student’s tuition from a third party on the student’s behalf. Refunds will be paid within 30 days of cancellation or withdrawal. A student who withdraws and wishes to later re-enroll is subject to the policies on Leaves of Absence.

REFUND INFORMATION. The student has a right to a full refund of all charges less the amount of $100.00 for the registration fee if he/she cancels this agreement through attendance at the first class session, or the seventh day after enrollment, whichever is later. If the student has received federal student financial aid funds, the student is entitled to a refund of moneys not paid from federal financial aid programs. In addition, the student may withdraw from a course after instruction has started and after the full refund cancellation period (see previous paragraph,) and receive a pro rata refund for the unused portion of the tuition and other refundable charges if the student has completed 60% or less of the instruction. For example, if the student completes only 20 hours of a 100-hour course or education service, and paid $595.00 tuition, the student would receive a refund of $396.00 as follows: Amount Paid = $595.00 minus registration fee of $100 equals $495.00 Refundable amount $495 multiplied by .20 (or 20%) equals $99.00, $495.00 - $99.00 equals $396. Student would receive a refund of $396.00 in this example. NOTICE CONCERNING TRANSFERABILITY OF CREDITS AND CREDENTIALS EARNED AT OUR INSTITUTION: The transferability of credits you earn at Somatherapy Institute is at the complete discretion of an institution to which you may seek to transfer. Acceptance of the certificate you earn in the educational program is also at the complete discretion of the institution to which you may seek to transfer. If the certificate that you earn at this institution is not accepted at the institution to which you seek to transfer, you may be required to repeat some or all of your coursework at that institution. For this reason you should make certain that your attendance at this institution will meet your educational goals. This may include contacting an institution to which you may seek to transfer after attending Somatherapy Institute to determine if your Massage Therapy certificate will transfer.
