The redundancy entitlements clause defines the rights and benefits an employee is entitled to receive if their position is made redundant. Redundancy entitlements. (a) Each month, the Employer will pay $80.00 per week (pro-rata for part time) to each Employee, for each week of service which that Employee completed on the Project, into an Approved Worker Entitlement Fund such as:
(1) CIRTQ – for electrical and instrumentation Employees and Storepersons ($70.00 per week (initially) into CIRTQ and $10.00 per week (initially) into Jetco, the CIRTQ related benefits fund).

Redundancy entitlements. 15.1 Redundancy or redundant means the termination or cessation of employment of an Employee for any reason. In respect of redundancy benefits:
(a) The Company agrees to make redundancy contributions of $ 55.00 per week or pro rata for any time worked less than a week in respect of Employees (except casuals) covered by this agreement into the Australian Construction Industry Redundancy Trust (ACIRT). The entitlement for apprentices shall be in accordance with Appendix F (b An Employee is entitled to access his/her redundancy payments when they cease to be employed by the Company.
Redundancy entitlements. • An employee who is made redundant will receive 4 weeks severance pay for each year of completed, continuous service. - A maximum payment of 50 weeks will be received if less than 45 years of age. - A maximum payment of 60 weeks will be received if greater than 45 years of age. • An employee who is 50 years of age or over at the time of retrenchment will receive an additional 1 week pay for each complete year of service over the age of 50. OR • An employee who has completed 12.5 years continuous service will receive an additional 1 week pay for each complete year from 12.5 years. - The employee will receive whichever payment is greater and is not entitled to both.

Redundancy entitlements.
21.1 Redundancy occurs where Delta Building Automation Pty Ltd has made a definite decision that it no longer wishes the job the employee has been doing done by anyone and that decision leads to the termination of employment of the employee.
21.2 Delta Building Automation Pty Ltd will pay redundancy contributions for each permanent employee, other than apprentices, into the Mechanical Electrical Redundancy Trust (MERT) at the rate of $65 per week for each employee or such higher amount as may be generally applicable.
21.3 Where an employee is terminated on account of redundancy, he or she will be paid a severance payment from the MERT fund in accordance with the provisions of the MERT fund in place at that time. By way of information, at the date of lodgement of this Agreement, the payments made by the MERT fund on termination on account of redundancy are equal to the value of the contributions paid into the fund by Delta Building Automation Pty Ltdin respect of that employee.
PART D Hours of work 22 Ordinary hours and rostered days off
22.1 The ordinary hours of work are 38 hours per week from the date of lodgement of this Agreement.
22.2 Ordinary hours may be worked between the hours of 6.00 am and 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday as determined by Delta Building Automation Pty Ltd.
22.3 The normal working hours arrangements are 8 ordinary hours of work each day which allows each employee to accumulate one Rostered Day Off (RDO) for each 19 days of work.
22.4 Where Delta Building Automation Pty Ltd and an individual employee agree, alternative arrangements may be introduced for the employee’s ordinary hours of work, subject to the employee not being required to work:
(a) more than 38 ordinary hours in the week;
(b) more than 10 ordinary hours on any day; and
(c) ordinary hours outside the hours of 6.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday without the payment of overtime rates.
22.5 Delta Building Automation Pty Ltd will determine the timing of RDOs for each employee, taking into account employee preferences and the availability of work..
22.6 Where an employee has not used all accumulated RDOs before the commencement of the Christmas shutdown, the remaining RDOs will be taken during the shutdown.
Redundancy entitlements. This Agreement provides more favourable entitlements than the NES relating to notice, consultation, and redundancy pay in the event of redundancies for Teachers and Professional Support Staff – see clauses 26 and 42 of this Agreement. 10.8

69.1 An Employee whose employment is terminated by reason of redundancy will receive redundancy benefits of full salary for periods of full-time service and pro rata salary for periods of part-time service.
