Reduction of Teachers. 1. In the event the reduction in force of certified teachers cannot be accomplished through other means, the procedure for reduction in force is as follows:
Reduction of Teachers. Section 1. In the event the Board deems it necessary to reduce staff through layoffs the Board agrees to give ample notice to the Association. Before the Board takes official action to reduce staff the Association will be afforded opportunity to discuss the situation and offer alternative solutions. In the event of layoffs the Board will provide a list of the affected teachers as soon as they are determined.
Reduction of Teachers. The Board agrees that it shall abide by those laws and regulations which may be concerned with a reduction in the number of teaching staff members for the purpose or intention of undermining the Association or discriminating against any of its members.
Reduction of Teachers. Layoff shall be defined as a reduction in work force beyond normal attrition due to decreased student enrollment, program reductions or consolidation, closing of buildings, and/or economic reasons. To effect a layoff, the Board shall follow the procedure noted below:

  • PROTECTION OF TEACHERS A. The Board recognizes its responsibility to give all reasonable support and assistance to teachers with respect to the maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom.

  • EVALUATION OF TEACHERS 1. All reports on the work of a teacher shall be in writing.

  • Termination of Therapy Therapist reserves the right to terminate therapy at his/her discretion. Reasons for termination include, but are not limited to, untimely payment of fees, failure to comply with treatment recommendations, conflicts of interest, failure to participate in therapy, Patient needs are outside of Therapist’s scope of competence or practice, or Patient is not making adequate progress in therapy. Patient has the right to terminate therapy at his/her discretion. Upon either party’s decision to terminate therapy, Therapist will generally recommend that Patient participate in at least one, or possibly more, termination sessions. These sessions are intended to facilitate a positive termination experience and give both parties an opportunity to reflect on the work that has been done. Therapist will also attempt to ensure a smooth transition to another therapist by offering referrals to Patient.
