REDEPLOYMENT, RETRAINING AND REDUNDANCY. 4.13.1 Subject to this clause and conditional on approval of this Enterprise Agreement, the parties acknowledge that this agreement is made and entered into on the basis that a new redeployment, retraining and redundancy scheme as detailed in Appendix 1 will be implemented to apply to DECD and all employees covered by this Enterprise Agreement.

REDEPLOYMENT, RETRAINING AND REDUNDANCY. 1. The parties acknowledge the following principles that outline the core elements proposed for a redeployment, retraining and redundancy policy. Implementation will be supported by information contained in relevant Recruitment and Selection Policies on managing excess employees.

REDEPLOYMENT, RETRAINING AND REDUNDANCY. 26.1 The Public Sector Management Act 1994 and the Public Sector Management (Redeployment and Redundancy) Regulations 1994, as varied from time to time, apply. The provisions of this clause do not apply to fixed term contract or casual employees, as defined in Clause 19 – Fixed Term Contract of this Agreement and Clause 20 - Casual of this Agreement.

REDEPLOYMENT, RETRAINING AND REDUNDANCY. 3.1 When a position is declared to be redundant Council will make efforts to offer redeployment opportunities to affected Employee’s to other vacant positions.

All notification periods are to be consistent with the Queensland Employment Standard and these standards will take precedence to any potential inconsistency that may be identified within this agreement:

Given the principles set out in this clause 9.3 are reflective of policies applicable to the Public Service (as defined in the South Australian Public Sector Act 2009) and certain other public sector agencies, this clause 9.3 shall apply to employees for so long as they are employed by ForestrySA.
