Redemptions; Cancellation. Redemptions or repurchases of shares will be made at the net asset value of such shares, less any applicable deferred sales or redemption charges, in accordance with the applicable prospectuses. If Bank sells shares for the account of the record owner to the Funds, Bank shall be deemed to represent to FTDI that Bank is doing so as agent for the Customer and that Bank is authorized to do so in such capacity. Such sales to the Funds shall be at the redemption or repurchase price then currently in effect for such shares. If on a redemption which Bank has ordered, instructions in proper form, including outstanding certificates, are not received within the time customary or the time required by law, the redemption may be canceled forthwith without any responsibility or liability on the part of FTDI or any Fund, or at the option of FTDI, FTDI may buy the shares redeemed on behalf of the Fund, in which latter case FTDI may hold Bank responsible for any loss to the Fund or loss of profit suffered by FTDI resulting from Bank's failure to settle the redemption.

If on a redemption which Bank has ordered, instructions in proper form, including outstanding certificates, are not received within the time customary or the time required by law, the redemption may be canceled forthwith without any responsibility or liability on the part of FTDI or any Fund, or at its option FTDI may buy the shares redeemed on behalf of the Fund, in which latter case it may hold Bank responsible for any loss to the Fund or loss of profit suffered by FTDI resulting from Bank's failure to settle the redemption.

  • Section 309 Cancellation All Securities surrendered for payment, redemption, registration of transfer or exchange or for credit against any sinking fund payment shall, if surrendered to any Person other than the Trustee, be delivered to the Trustee and shall be promptly cancelled by it. The Company may at any time deliver to the Trustee for cancellation any Securities previously authenticated and delivered hereunder which the Company may have acquired in any manner whatsoever, and may deliver to the Trustee (or to any other Person for delivery to the Trustee) for cancellation any Securities previously authenticated hereunder which the Company has not issued and sold, and all Securities so delivered shall be promptly cancelled by the Trustee. If the Initial Period is longer than the compounding period, then the period will be divided into a regular compounding period and a short period with the short period being treated as provided above.

  • Redemption of Units If the underwriters (the “Underwriters”) in the Company’s initial public offering (the “IPO”) do not exercise in full their over-allotment option to be granted by the Company pursuant to an underwriting agreement by and among the Underwriters and the Company, then either (i) the Company shall redeem from Purchaser, at a redemption price equal to $0.01 per Unit, or (ii) the Purchaser shall forfeit, a number of Units equal to 6,000 multiplied by the percentage of the Underwriters’ over-allotment option that remains unexercised as of the expiration date thereof.
