Redeeming Vacation Leave for Pay. ‌ Permanent Employees who are in their second or subsequent year of employment may choose to have up to one half (½) of their vacation time paid out in lieu of time off provided that no Employee takes less than two (2) weeks time off. An Employee requesting that vacation time be paid out shall provide four (4) weeks written notice to the Employer. The Employee will receive the requested vacation pay in the following pay period.
