Recyclables. As of the Execution Date designated public curbside receptacles in the Service Area primarily contain Refuse. CONTRACTOR will Collect and Divert Recyclables discarded in existing or additional Recyclable receptacles within two weeks of Director’s request, subject to possible adjustment of the Service Fee for change orders under item B of Section 3.

Recyclables. Only those recyclables currently accepted by Council for collection and recycling shall be removed from the kerb-side. The collection of recyclable material will principally occur from 120 litre MGBs with some residents continuing to use the 50 litre crates, or shared larger MGBs or other Council approved container. Spillages will be collected from within the vicinity of the containers placed for emptying. If the spillage is excessive and reoccurring, or could represent an occupational health and safety risk the Coordinator shall be advised. Recyclable materials shall be collected from approved collection points in residential flat buildings (where appropriate) or where no approved collection point is provided, from a storage area approved by the Coordinator. Where Council has approved the collection of waste material from within a property, as a result of a disability suffered by the resident, the collection and return of collection containers shall be as arranged with the particular resident. Where collection staff form a view that the volume or nature of recyclable material is such as to suggest commercial activity, they shall refer the matter to the Co-ordinator.
Recyclables. Grantee shall provide ninety (90) gallon Containers for Residential recyclables and pickup once each week.
Recyclables. Recycling bins will be provided by Contractor for the collection of recyclable materials. Bins to be used shall be approved by the City. The bins will be made available by the City to each household and shall be identified by the City as the approved container for the recyclables collection program. Collection of recyclables shall also be made from any rigid containers, Kraft paper, or plastic grocery bags, provided that: 1) containers and bags are of sufficient wet strength to retain original shape until contents are placed in Contractor's vehicle, and 2) the approved container is on the parkway. Damaged bins which are not suitable for use shall be replaced free of charge if the damaged bin is turned in for an exchange. A fee of $5.00 per bin will be charged if a customer serviced by the Contractor desires more than one bin.
Recyclables. Recyclables shall be collected in material streams acceptable to the facility to which materials are delivered, either separated by material or commingled according to what is mutually acceptable to the Town, Contractor and the facility. Recyclables are those designated as such in Section 6-5-10 of the Superior Municipal Code.
Recyclables. Recyclable Materials shall be collected during the term of this Agreement on the same day as the SWANCC System Waste and Landscape Waste is collected from the household. Recyclable Materials do not need to be segregated. The Contractor shall deliver all Recyclable Materials to Groot’s recycling facility in Elk Grove Village, IL and the Village shall be entitled to revenue from the SWANCC Recycling Incentive Program. In addition, the Contractor shall not be liable for any tipping fee or cost of processing Recyclable Materials collected under this Section. Upon the mutual agreement of the Contractor and the Village, additional materials may be added to the list of Recyclable Materials set forth in Article I. The Contractor, as agent for the Village, shall have a contractual obligation to ensure that all Recyclable Materials collected are properly processed and marketed. No collected Recyclable Materials shall be land-filled or incinerated, unless advance authorization to do so is given in writing by the corporate authorities of the Village. The Contractor shall be required to implement a sticker system for any materials placed in recycling containers that are not collected. The sticker should identify why such materials were no collected as Recyclable Materials. The Contractor shall provide once per week collection of Recyclable Materials at all Municipal Facilities.
