Common use of Reconsideration of a Classification Decision Clause in Contracts

Reconsideration of a Classification Decision. An employee or a group of employees has thirty (30) calendar days to submit a request for reconsideration of a classification decision to the Human Resources Director. Employees without email, will be asked to verify receipt of a paper copy of the decision, and will have thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt. An employee must request reconsideration prior to filing an appeal. Failure to request reconsideration to the Human Resources Director in thirty (30) calendar days shall be considered as acceptance of the reclassification decision. A group may fill out one request for all included individuals, or one or more of the employees may submit individual requests for reconsideration.
