Recognition of Union Stewards. In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Stewards. A Xxxxxxx may assist any employee, which the Xxxxxxx represents, in preparing, processing, and presenting his/her grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure.

The Xxxxxxx shall assist any employee that the Xxxxxxx represents, in preparing and presenting a grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure.
Recognition of Union Stewards. 9.04 The Union xxxxxxx shall have the right to prepare and present grievances in accordance with the procedure herein provided for and, for that purpose, shall have the right to meet with the employee on behalf of whom the grievance could be submitted. It is understood that this right shall be granted during the Union xxxxxxx'x shift or, at the latest, at the start of his or her following shift.
Recognition of Union Stewards. In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Union shall appoint two (2) union stewards. A xxxxxxx may assist an employee in presenting her grievance at any stage of the grievance procedure following the submission of a written grievance, if the employee so requests. No more than one bargaining unit member who is a xxxxxxx or union representative shall attend at any such meeting unless mutually agreed between the parties.
Recognition of Union Stewards. Union stewards shall have the right to investigate complaints and to prepare and present grievances in accordance with the procedures herein provided for and, for that purpose, shall have the right to meet or communicate with the employee on behalf of whom the grievance could be submitted. This right will be granted as soon as possible and will not be unreasonably withheld. If the union xxxxxxx is an employee in the bargaining unit, the performance of the above functions shall not cause any change in the services to the customers nor the payment of overtime.
Recognition of Union Stewards. The Corporation acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select four (4) stewards, together with an alternate xxxxxxx, each of whom shall have attained seniority. The names of the stewards shall be given to the Corporation in writing and the Corporation shall not be required to recognize any such xxxxxxx until it has been so notified. The Corporation undertakes to instruct all members of its supervisory staff to co-operate with the stewards in the carrying out of the terms and requirements of this Agreement. The Union undertakes to secure from its officers, stewards and members their co-operation with the Corporation and with all persons representing the Corporation in a supervisory capacity.
Recognition of Union Stewards. The Employer acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or elect a Chief Xxxxxxx as well as nine (9) full-time and nine (9) part-time Stewards to represent Employees in the bargaining unit. Employees so selected to represent the Union shall at the time of their appointment have completed their probationary period.
Recognition of Union Stewards. From among the bargaining unit employees employed by the Company, the Union will designate, and the Company will recognize, not more than five (5) union stewards to serve as the Union’s agents in the representation of employees. From the five (5) recognized stewards, the Union will select a chief xxxxxxx. The Company shall not recognize any employee as a union xxxxxxx unless the Union has notified the Company, in writing, of the employee’s name, department, and designation as a union xxxxxxx. The individual union stewards will be selected from and assigned to one of the following work areas to represent the employees in that union xxxxxxx’x area:
Recognition of Union Stewards. The Company recognizes the important role that Union Stewards play in ensuring that all aspects of the Collective Agreement are adhered to. Union Stewards may be appointed or elected by the Union from time to time, and the Union will identify to the Company its designated Union Stewards.
