Common use of Recognition and Negotiations Clause in Contracts

Recognition and Negotiations. (a) The Employer recognizes the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local Union 3966, as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining agency for all of its employees save and except the Executive Assistant, Manager of Reference and Information Services, Coordinator of Technical Services, Coordinator of Computer and Circulation Services, Manager of Public Services, Manager, Branches (Xxxxxxxx and Xxxxxxxxx) and those excluded by the Labour Relations Code, and hereby consents and agrees to negotiate with the Union or any of its authorized committees covering all matters affecting the relationship between the parties to this Collective Agreement, looking toward a peaceful and amicable settlement of any differences that may arise between them.

(a) 3.01 The Employer Employer, or anyone authorized to act on its behalf, approves and recognizes the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local Union 3966919, as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining agency for all of its employees the Employees, save and except the Executive Assistant, Manager Director of Reference and Information Leisure Services, Coordinator of Technical ServicesXxxxxxx (but including Community Centre Xxxxxxx) and above that rank, Coordinator of Computer and Circulation Services, Manager of Public Services, Manager, Branches (Xxxxxxxx and Xxxxxxxxx) Office Employees and those excluded by the Labour Relations CodeTrade Union Act, and hereby consents and agrees to negotiate with the Union Union, or any of its authorized committees covering committee thereof, in any and all matters affecting the relationship between the parties to Parties of this Collective Agreement, looking toward towards a peaceful and amicable settlement of any differences that may arise between them.
