Reclassification Survey. If the Employer requests a complete job title survey or reclassification survey of any job title covered by this Agreement from the Department of Personnel the Union shall be permitted to take an active part in the survey. The Employer shall notify the Union that a survey shall take place, and shall request recommendations from the Union, and cooperate with the Union regarding said survey.

Reclassification Survey. 51.01 If the Employer should request a complete title survey and reclassification survey of the Correction Officers’ positions by the New Jersey State Department of Personnel, the PBA will be permitted to take an active part in the survey consistent with the New Jersey State Department of Personnel Rules (Department of Adult Corrections).   • Upward Reclassification When a position is reclassified upward a regular incumbent shall be continued in the position. He/she shall be advanced to the higher class with the same status held in the lower class if he/she meets minimum experience and training requirements. When a position is reclassified upward and the incumbent does not have regular status, the position will be filled competitively at the higher level.
