Reciprocal Fire Protection. The act of helping a neighboring Protecting Agency through written agreement for mutual aid in furnishing fire protection, which includes personal services and equipment required for fire prevention, the protection of life and property from fire, and firefighting. Reciprocity is attained by agreeing among agencies regarding the kind, location and numbers of firefighting resources which will automatically be made available as part of the initial response to a wildfire, regardless of the Protecting Agency. The kind, locations, and numbers of resources which constitute reciprocity are defined in or through local operating plans. Recovery: The development, coordination, and execution of service- and site-restoration plans for impacted communities and the reconstitution of government operations and services through individual, private-sector, nongovernmental, and public assistance programs that: identify needs and define resources; provide housing and promote restoration; address long-term care and treatment of affected persons; implement additional measures for community restoration; incorporate mitigation measures and techniques, as feasible; evaluate the incident to identify lessons learned; and develop initiatives to mitigate the effects of future incidents.

Reciprocal Fire Protection. A. The responsibilities of the parties to this agreement shall be distinguished as follows: • Jurisdictional Party – Entity having land and resource management responsibility for a specific geographical or functional area as provided by federal, state or local law. Under no circumstances may a Jurisdictional Party abdicate legal responsibilities as provided by federal state, or local law. • Protecting Party – Entity responsible for providing direct incident management within a specific geographical area pursuant to its jurisdictional responsibility or as specified and provided by contract or authorized agreement. • Supporting Party – Entity providing suppression resources to assist a Protecting Party or a Jurisdictional Party.

Reciprocal Fire Protection. As deemed appropriate, the Agencies may, by agreement and documented in Operating Plans, establish reciprocal initial attack zones for lands of intermingled or adjoining protection responsibility. Within such zones, a Supporting Agency may take initial attack action in support of the Protecting Agency.‌ The Protecting Agency will not be required to reimburse the Supporting Agency for costs of initial dispatch up to an agreed amount established in the Statewide Annual Operating Plan.
Reciprocal Fire Protection. As deemed appropriate, the parties will establish reciprocal initial attack areas for lands of intermingled or adjoining protection responsibilities. Within such areas a SUPPORTING party will, upon request or voluntarily, take initial attack action in support of the PROTECTING party. The PROTECTING party will not be required to reimburse the SUPPORTING party for initial attack actions taking place in this area within the first 24 hours following initial dispatch of suppression resources. All assistance beyond this mutual aid period will be assistance by hire and will be billed retroactively for the full period from the time of initial dispatch. Reciprocal initial attack areas will be mapped and made a part of the OP.

  • Meadow Protection Reasonable care shall be taken to avoid damage to the cover, soil, and wa- ter in xxxxxxx shown on Sale Area Map. Vehicular or skidding equipment shall not be used on xxxxxxx, ex- cept where roads, landings, and tractor roads are ap- proved under B5.1 or B6.422. Unless otherwise agreed, trees felled into xxxxxxx shall be removed by endlining. Resulting logging slash shall be removed where neces- sary to protect cover, soil, and water.

  • Streamcourse Protection “Streamcourses” that are subject to provisions of this Section are shown on Sale Area Map. Unless otherwise agreed, the following measures shall be observed to protect Streamcourses:

  • Child Protection Barracudas’ staff have a duty to respond if they suspect a child may be suffering from or makes a disclosure about abuse. In this event staff will contact the relevant local authority and act on their advice.
