Reassignment of Staff. The following procedure for reassignment of staff shall be utilized if layoffs result in an imbalance of staff or in the event that the Appointing Authority elects to close (either permanently or temporarily due to renovation or emergency) a building, cottage, wing, xxxx or dorm or both. Reassignment of Staff. Reassignment of staff to another unit will be assigned by the Hospital based on patient care needs of the unit. Providing that patient care needs are met, if reassignment is necessary the following order will apply:
