Re-Open Formal Complaint. If new information is uncovered or made available after a dismissal, the Administrative Officer may reevaluate the dismissal of a formal complaint. If the Administrative Officer believes that the allegations, if proven, would constitute a violation of the University’s Antidiscrimination Policies, the formal complaint may be re-opened. The parties will be provided appropriate written notice of acceptance of the formal complaint and a rationale explaining why the complaint was reopened and the formal complaint will be processed consistent with these Grievance Procedures.

  • Promotional Probationary Period An employee who has previously completed the requisite probationary period and who is rejected during a subsequent probationary period for a promotional appointment shall be reinstated to the former position from which the employee was appointed.   • Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union recognize the role of the joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee in promoting a safe and healthful workplace. The parties agree that a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee shall be established for each Employer covered by this Collective Agreement. The Committee shall govern itself in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Health and Safety Regulations made pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act.   • Child Rearing Leave 7.9.1 A permanent employee, who is the natural or adoptive parent of a child, shall be entitled to an unpaid leave of absence for the purpose of rearing his/her child for a specified period immediately after convalescence from maternity or immediately after completion of appropriate adoption papers. Such leave shall be for a maximum period of nine (9) months and shall be granted upon giving the District at least four (4) weeks notice prior to the anticipated date on which the leave is to commence.
