Rates and Effective Dates. 4:01 The Company shall notify the Union within thirty (30) days when any new classification or job coming under the jurisdiction of this Agreement is added, or if there is substantial change in the duties of an existing classification or job. The Union and the Company shall negotiate on the rate to be established and that rate, once established, shall be retroactive to the introduction date of the new classification or job. Every effort will be made to negotiate the new rate within thirty (30) days after notification.
