Raised Pavement Markers. Raised pavement markers (RPMs) are required as listed below for all asphaltic concrete pavements before the roadway is open to traffic. On the final surface, RPM’s shall be placed according to the timeframes specified in 150.04 E. for full pattern pavement markings except Interstate Highways where RPM’s shall be placed and/or maintained when the roadway is open to traffic. When Portland Cement Concrete is an intermediate or final surface and is open to traffic, one calendar day is allowed for cleaning and drying before the installation of RPMs is required. Raised pavement markers are not allowed on the right edge lines under any situation.
Raised Pavement Markers. Raised pavement markers shall be used, as appropriate, to supplement edge line markings on all primary roads and Class I roads. They are recommended for use along edge lines and where applicable, centerlines, on other classes of roads outside built-up areas with speed limit of 70km/h or above and without lighting. They should also be used on roads susceptible to poor visibility due to weather conditions. Priority for their use shall be given to curves or on road sections with increased safety risks, including: • Undivided multi-lane Class 1 roads • transition zones with changes in the number of traffic lanes • transition from divided road to undivided road • interchange diverges, merges and weaving sections • intersections with turn lanes • tunnels and approaches • narrow bridges and approaches Rumble Strips Centerline rumble strips shall be adopted, as appropriate, on: • on undivided Classes I, II roads with speed limit of 80km/h or above • at and on the approach to curves • in conjunction with wide-centerlines Edgeline rumble strips shall be adopted, as appropriate, on: • all primary roads • controlled-access Class I road with speed limit of 80km/h or above • Undivided Classes I, II roads with speed limit of 80km/h or above Transverse rumble strips shall be adopted, as appropriate, on • main road or side road approaches to intersections including roundabouts • approaches to curves and hazardous road sections • approaches to toll plazas or border areas etc The height and usage of rumble strips shall take into account the risk for pedestrians, cyclists or motorcyclists as well as residential houses and premises sensitive to noise or vibration.
Raised Pavement Markers. Place prismatic reflective elements or raised pavement markers at a maximum of 6 foot intervals along the separator length. For Rubber traffic separators, use raised pavement markers conforming to Section 919. Use red/white or yellow reflective elements or raised pavement markers depending on Plan requirements.

A firm or individual placed on the Suspended Vendor List pursuant to section 287.1351, F.S., the Convicted Vendor List pursuant to section 287.133, F.S., the Antitrust Violator Vendor List pursuant to section 287.137, F.S., or the Discriminatory Vendor List pursuant to section 287.134, F.S., is immediately disqualified from Contract eligibility.

  • Religious Objectors Any employee covered hereby who maintains that she/he holds a sincere and bona fide religious belief that conflicts with an obligation to financially support MSEA-SEIU, public employee organizations or labor organizations in general may seek religious objector status by petitioning MSEA-SEIU. Any such employee who is found to hold a sincere and bona fide religious belief that conflicts with an obligation to financially support MSEA-SEIU, public employee organizations or labor organizations in general, shall have the right to refuse to make service fee payments; provided, however, that said right to refuse shall continue only so long as the employee makes contributions at least equal in amount to the service fee to a non-religious charitable organization mutually agreed upon by the employee so refusing and the Union, within ten (10) days after each payday. Part-time employees’ contributions to non-religious charitable organizations shall coincide in amount with the payments of those part-time employees paying the service fee. MSEA-SEIU shall not unreasonably deny the choice of such non-religious charitable organization suggested by the employee. An administrative or legal challenge to a denial of a petition for religious objector status may be filed in an appropriate forum. The State of Maine Office of Employee Relations is not such a forum. Should an employee have a pending written request for religious objector status or a pending administrative or legal challenge regarding their religious objector status, the State will continue to deduct an amount equal to the service fee from the employee’s pay until the request is granted or the challenge is resolved in the employee’s favor, and that amount will be placed by MSEA- SEIU in an interest-bearing escrow account pending resolution of such dispute or request. MSEA-SEIU shall pay for any maintenance fees associated with such escrow accounts. The State shall not be liable for any fees, costs, damages, expenses, or any other form of liability involved with regard to such escrow accounts. If an employee is granted religious objector status, MSEA- SEIU will notify the State of the employee’s religious objector status, and the State will cease automatic service fee deductions. It shall be the sole obligation of MSEA-SEIU to certify to the State the name of any employee who has failed to make timely contributions as a religious objector and has, thus, forfeited religious objector status. Once MSEA-SEIU has certified the employee’s name to the State, the State will commence and continue to automatically deduct the service fee from the employee’s pay as provided in Section 1.

  • Crossing Picket Lines The Company will not expect an employee to cross a picket line, including a picket line at a customer site, if to do so would place the employee's life, limb or personal property in jeopardy.

  • NASPO ValuePoint eMarket Center a. In July 2011, NASPO ValuePoint entered into a multi-year agreement with SciQuest, Inc. whereby SciQuest will provide certain electronic catalog hosting and management services to enable eligible NASPO ValuePoint’s customers to access a central online website to view and/or shop the goods and services available from existing NASPO ValuePoint Cooperative Contracts. The central online website is referred to as the NASPO ValuePoint eMarket Center.

  • Integrated Digital Loop Carriers The feeder portion of some loops may be provide by means of Integrated Digital Loop Carrier (IDLC). IDLC provides a fiber optic cable transmission path that travels directly into BellSouth’s central office local switch. Where BellSouth uses IDLC ,if technically feasible and capacity does exist, BST will provide Al-Call with a Designed DS0 UVL by using alternative provisioning techniques including but not limited to such as “hairpinning” and DAC grooming. Alternative provisioning techniques will be provided at no additional cost to Al-Call . Hairpinning involves providing a DS0 signal from an IDLC-served loop to Al-Call ’s collocation equipment by using a dedicated pathway that traverses BellSouth’s central office switch. BellSouth will provide such DS0 signal to Al-Call by establishing a copper cross connect between the BellSouth switch and Al-Call ’s collocation equipment.

  • TREE TRIMMING The Licensee shall have authority to trim trees upon and overhanging public streets, alleys, sidewalks and ways and places of the Town so as to prevent the branches of such trees from coming in contact with the wires, cables and equipment of the Licensee, in accordance with applicable state law and any Town bylaws/ordinances and regulations.
