Radioactive contamination Sample Clauses
The 'Radioactive contamination' clause defines the responsibilities and procedures in the event that radioactive materials contaminate a site or property. Typically, this clause outlines the steps for identifying contamination, notifying relevant authorities, and remediating the affected area, as well as specifying which party bears the costs and liabilities associated with cleanup. Its core practical function is to allocate risk and ensure a clear process for managing and resolving incidents involving radioactive substances, thereby protecting both parties from unforeseen hazards and regulatory breaches.
