Radiation Safety. Contractor is advised that certain process flow rates at Xxxxx Station are monitored by radioactive sources. The areas where nuclear sources are present are posted with radiation warning signs. These areas include coal feeding and handling, fly-ash and limestone silos, precipitators and scrubbers. Contractor Representatives performing Services in these areas are required to contact the OATR. The OATR will provide information concerning the precautions required by the Tri-State’s radiation safety program and a copy of the facility’s radioactive source list.

Radiation Safety. The Tenant is responsible for obtaining a license from the NRC to carry out work with radioisotopes. The use of radioisotopes and compliance with all the rules and guidelines set by the NRC and the State of Pennsylvania are the sole responsibility of the Tenant. Upon vacating the Premises, Tenant must remove all radioisotopes as well as radioactive waste from the laboratory and provide Landlord with a “laboratory space decommission statement” from the NRC.
Radiation Safety. No radioactive components will be reinstalled by the borrowing organization. If radioactive items are found reinstalled during later inspections, the borrowing organization will pay the cost of removal of the radioactive items and any decontamination required.

Cancellations will also be posted on the LSMI Facebook page. SOLICITATION OR DISTRIBUTION Solicitation is defined as urging or attempting to verbally persuade another individual to buy a product or service, support a cause, join an organization, or make contributions to a fund. Distribution is defined as the handing out of printed or written materials that are not official hospital/school business. The primary purpose of this policy is to protect students, employees, patients and visitors from embarrassment or inconvenience caused by unwanted solicitations. STUDENT HEALTH COVID and FLU VACCINATIONS ARE MANDATORY. Medical and religious exemptions are NOT accepted. FLU SHOTS Lifespan provides flu shots to students free of charge. Radiation Safety. Following ratification, the Employer will have a consultant conduct testing on radiation emissions on a live line at Toronto Xxxxxxx airport. All Authorized Users must follow good health physics work practices in the labs and maintain regulatory compliance. Environmental Health and Life Safety is charged with the responsibility for providing certain health physics services and Tenant consultations as well as radioactive waste disposal for the campus. The specific duties and responsibilities under state and federal law and university policy regarding radiation hazards are detailed in the EHRM Radiation Safety Manual available online at hxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/xxxx/research-lab/radiation-safety/manual/.
