Purpose of Inspection. Inspection is for determining the completion of the Work, and does not relieve the Contractor of its overall responsibility for completing the Work in a good and competent fashion, in compliance with the Contract. Work accepted with incomplete punchlist items or failure of the Owner or other parties to identify Work that does not comply with the Contract Documents or is defective in operation or workmanship does not constitute a waiver of the Owner's rights under the Contract or relieve the Contractor of its responsibility for performance or warranties.

Purpose of Inspection. Inspections carried out will be the minimum required to ensure compliance with the Act and Regulations and not supervision of all the work. It is the responsibility of the builder to construct the building fully in accordance with the approved permit documents, good practice, guide to standards and tolerances, and the National Construction Code of Australia. Variations must be approved by the Building Surveyor prior to construction and those variations that require further document survey and assessment and/or approval will incur an additional fee – refer Clause 8. It is the builder’s responsibility to ensure that all mandatory inspections are called for. Mandatory inspections are required prior to placement of any concrete, at frame stage, before occupancy and upon final completion. Additional inspections over and above those referenced in the fee proposal will be charged as an additional inspection as per councils approved fees and charges at time of inspection plus 1.80/km where greater than 20km from council development services office if outside the Dorset Council Municipality. Inspections are priced on the basis of it being carried out by a qualified building inspector. Inspections by contractors may incur additional fees. Note: For multi-unit developments, a site visit for “x” no. of units is counted as “x” no. of mandatory inspections.
Purpose of Inspection. The Inspection is designed to identify the general features and material defects in the Systems, Structures, and components of the Inspected Property. Style, aesthetics, normal wear and tear, and cosmetics shall not be a determining factor in considering whether a structure, system, or component is defective. Systems will be operated only by the normal operating controls and as conditions permit. THE CUSTOMER UNDERSTANDS THAT THE INSPECTION IS NOT TO BE TECHNICALLY EXHAUSTIVE. And is advised to consult an expert in field of expertise for further evaluation. Maintenance items may be discussed and some noted as a courtesy to the Customer; however Customer is not to rely or expect such discussion to occur and is encouraged to seek maintenance review by those qualified professionals who routinely provide maintenance checkups or reviews of systems, structures, and components or the like of the Inspected Property.

Inspections by contractors may incur additional fees. Inspections carried out specifically by the RBS will be charged out at an hourly rate of $275.00 per hour, GST included. Note: For multi-unit developments, a site visit for “x” no. of units is counted as “x” no. of mandatory inspections.

This report is not an all encompassing report dealing with the building from every aspect. It is a reasonable attempt to identify any obvious issues apparent at the time of the inspection.

  • Response/Compliance with Audit or Inspection Findings A. Grantee must act to ensure its and its Subcontractors’ compliance with all corrections necessary to address any finding of noncompliance with any law, regulation, audit requirement, or generally accepted accounting principle, or any other deficiency identified in any audit, review, or inspection of the Contract and the services and Deliverables provided. Any such correction will be at Grantee’s or its Subcontractor's sole expense. Whether Xxxxxxx's action corrects the noncompliance shall be solely the decision of the System Agency.

  • Rights of Inspection In order to ensure that the Quality Standards are maintained, Licensor and its authorized agents and representatives shall have the right, but not the obligation, with prior notice to Licensee, to enter upon the premises of any office or facility operated by or for Licensee with respect to Sprint PCS Products and Services and Premium and Promotional Items at all reasonable times, to inspect, monitor and test in a reasonable manner facilities and equipment used to furnish Sprint PCS Products and Services and Premium and Promotional Items and, with prior written notice to Licensee, to inspect the books and records of Licensee in a manner that does not unreasonably interfere with the business and affairs of Licensee, all as they relate to the compliance with the Quality Standards maintained hereunder.

  • Right of Inspection Buyer shall have the right to inspect the goods at the time and place of delivery, and within 5 business days after delivery, Buyer must give notice to Seller of any claim for damages on account of the condition, quality, or grade of the goods, and Buyer must specify in detail the basis of such claim. The failure of Buyer to comply with these conditions shall constitute irrevocable acceptance of the goods by Buyer.

  • Inspection and Tests 3.8.1 The Procuring entity or its representative shall have the right to inspect and/or to test the goods to confirm their conformity to the Contract specifications. The Procuring entity shall notify the tenderer in writing in a timely manner, of the identity of any representatives retained for these purposes.

  • Safety Inspection During inspection of County facilities conducted by the State Division of Occupational Safety and Health for the purpose of determining compliance with the California OSHA requirements, an OCEA designated employee shall be allowed to accompany the inspector while the inspector is in the employee's agency/department. The employee so designated shall suffer no loss of pay when this function is performed during the employee's regularly scheduled work hours.

  • Environmental Inspection at End of Agreement Term A. At Authority’s discretion, at least one hundred and twenty (120) days before the expiration or early termination of the Term as provided herein, Company will conduct an environmental inspection and examination of the Company Premises. At its discretion, Authority may complete environmental reviews to determine if recognized environmental conditions exist that could warrant soil and groundwater sampling. If warranted by the findings of Company or Authority’s inspection or if requested by Authority, a compliance audit or site assessment will be performed within the aforementioned time period by a qualified professional acceptable to Authority who will report the findings to Authority. The cost for professional consulting or engineering services required for such audit will be at the expense of Company. If a site assessment is conducted, Company agrees to pay all associated laboratory and testing fees incurred to test and analyze samples collected during the site assessment process. The Authority may also choose to conduct the compliance audit or site assessment. If the results of the assessment indicate that the Company Premises have been impacted by the release of Hazardous Substances, Company will immediately take such action as is necessary and will provide a substantial guaranty in a form and content acceptable to Authority that Company will clean up the contamination at its own expense, at no expense to Authority, and in accordance with Applicable Laws to the extent that it is obligated to do so by virtue of the foregoing provisions of this Article.
