Purpose and Policy. The parties agree that the purpose and intent of the provisions contained herein are to ensure that promotions are made equitably and in a consistent manner. Promotions shall be based solely on job-related criteria and without regard to political, religious, labor organization affiliation or non‑affiliation, marital status, race, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, non‑disqualifying disabling condition, or age. This article sets forth the merit promotion system, policies, and procedures applicable to bargaining unit positions in the Department.

In addition, the parties have established trainee programs for the power plant in the fields of maintenance and operation. The parties agree that the purpose and intent of the provisions contained herein are to ensure that merit promotion principles are applied in a consistent manner with equity to all employees and without regard to political, religious, or labor organization affiliation or non-affiliation, marital status, race, color, sex, national origin, disabling condition, or age, and shall be based solely on job-related criteria. This article applies to bargaining unit positions in the Agency. The actions covered by merit promotions are stated in Departmental Regulations.

Purpose and Policy. 612.1-1. Purpose. It is the purpose of this law to set the standards and requirements for participation in the mortgage programs and to prescribe the foreclosure process required to be used in the event of a default of a mortgage.
Purpose and Policy. The parties agree that recycling and going green are important for environmental concerns. The Agency recognizes that it can make more efficient use of natural resources by maximizing recycling and preventing waste wherever possible. Any recycling programs established by the parties will be done in a cost effective manner. The administration will make every reasonable effort to see that employees are environmentally conscious. Parties agree that revenue generated from recycling be used in accordance with the statute. The agency is committed to supporting Federal government efforts to increase energy efficiency; reduce greenhouse gas emissions from direct and indirect activities; conserve and protect water resources through efficiency, reuse, and storm water management; eliminate waste, recycle, and prevent pollution; design, construct, maintain, and operate high performance sustainable buildings; and inform Federal employees about these goals. The issue of recycling will periodically be on the agenda of, and be dealt with at the National Level Union/Management Committee meetings. The union may request an annual briefing during the February UM meeting on the recycling program and going green efforts at SSA, which may include a discussion on funds collected and expenses of the program. SSA will make information available to SSA employees regarding the Agency Recycling Program and recycling information on the agency intranet.

Promotions shall be based solely on job-related criteria, and without regard to political, religious, labor organization affiliation or non-affiliation, marital status, race, color, sex, national origin, disabling condition, or age. The parties agree the following procedures are applicable to all bargaining unit employees at Xxxxx-Xxxxxxx AFB.
Purpose and Policy. The Parties agree that substantial benefits and enhanced productivity will accrue through an Incentive Awards Program and Employee Suggestion Awards Program which objectively recognize and financially reward employee accomplishments: a. The Union and Employer agree to encourage employees to participate in these programs. b. The Employer agrees to provide incentives and awards for employees who are honored under these programs for either Their performance, or the adoption of their suggestions or recommendations.
