Common use of Public Purpose Clause in Contracts

Public Purpose. This IGA and the services contemplated herein are for the public welfare and benefit and are undertaken in accordance with the laws and Constitution of the State of Georgia. Without limiting the foregoing, the parties specifically and expressly warrant and represent, and do hereby find, that this IGA (i) pertains to the provision of services and activities which the Parties are by law authorized to undertake and provide; (ii) is otherwise authorized under the Intergovernmental Contracts Clause of the Georgia Constitution of 1983, Art.
