Common use of Public Office Leave Clause in Contracts

Public Office Leave. 1. A leave of absence may be granted to any teacher upon application for the purpose of campaigning for, or serving in, a public office. Any teacher who is granted such leave shall not receive experience, credit or other fringe benefits during the duration of the leave. Such leave shall be for a minimum of one (1) year and a maximum of two (2) years.
