Common use of Public Holidays Clause in Contracts

Public Holidays. Where the part-time Employee's normal paid hours fall on a public holiday and work is not performed by the Employee, such Employee shall not lose pay for the day. Where the Employee works on the holiday, such Employee shall receive double time and a half.

Where the employee works on the holiday, such Employee employee shall receive double time and a half.be paid in accordance with clause 30 - Public Holidays Rates of this Agreement.‌
