Public Holiday Shift. The minimum rate to be paid to a continuous shift worker for ordinary work rostered to be performed on a Public Holiday shall triple time. Such extra rate shall be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the shift allowances prescribed in sub-clause 14.1.1

Public Holiday Shift. Where shifts fall partly on a public holiday, that shift, the major portion of which falls on the public holiday, shall be regarded as the public holiday shift and be payable at the appropriate rates under Clause 34.1(d). Provided that, by agreement between the parties, the shift which commenced during the public holiday may be observed as the public holiday shift in which case public holiday rates shall not be payable for any part of the preceding shift worked during such public holiday.
Public Holiday Shift. For ordinary hours worked on a Public Holiday shall be double and one half- ordinary time rates. Such extra rate shall be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the shift allowances prescribed in subclause 16.4 hereof.
Public Holiday Shift. The minimum loading to be paid to a shift worker for ordinary work performed on a Public Holiday shall be one hundred and fifty percent. Such extra rate shall be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the shift allowances prescribed in sub-clause 15.4 hereof.
Public Holiday Shift. An Employee required to work ordinary hours on any public holiday will be paid at 250% of the Employee’s base hourly rate for each hour worked.

  • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday (a) For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays fall on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; and when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Holiday Overtime An employee required to work on any of the above-named holidays will be paid holiday pay plus payment for the number of hours worked at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) his regular straight time rate of pay.

  • Holiday Leave Holiday leave provisions shall be as noted below:
