Public Consultation. The Council’s Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out the requirement for developers to consult with the local community dependant on the nature of the proposals. In addition, there is a statutory requirement for the Council to notify local residents of development proposals in their area. The Council, in consultation with parish councils, has also prepared a Parish Protocol for planning consultation with parish and town councils. The protocol sets out the process of how the Council will engage with parish councils regarding the planning application process.
Public Consultation. 7.1 The Licensee must give reasonable notice to all residents affected by the filming at and around the immediate vicinity of the Site in advance of the use of the Site and properly inform them of:
Public Consultation. The CHP will use the PPF as its main forum for consultation with the public but it is recognised that this is not the only way in which the CHP will engage with the public. The PPF will enable the CHP to improve its methods of communication in providing feedback to the Shetland public. Through for example, promotion of the Participation Toolkit produced by the Scottish Health Council and Best Practice principles as described by Consumer Focus Scotland. The CHP will use the PPF network to identify specific working group members for public engagement or consultation. In order for this to happen the Working Group will: • Identify existing skills within the PPF; • Have access to appropriate training; • Have access to resources to facilitate participation of its members; • Have access to CHP staff for assistance. In order for this to happen the CHP will need to: • Ensure the PPF has a realistic timeframe to complete the engagement and consultation; • Ensure the PPF is involved at the beginning of the engagement and consultation process; • Ensure the PPF is involved in consultations where the public view can make a difference; Members of the Shetland community can raise issues about Health and Care Services with the PPF: • By contacting any member of the PPF; • By contacting the PPF Coordinator/Administrative support by telephone, mail or email; The Working Group (which includes the PPF Office Bearers) will decide on the appropriate action which may include: • Contacting the relevant service; • Discussing the issue at a PPF meeting; • Involving the PPF network by various means; • Passing the issue on to the CHP and feeding back the action taken. • Investigating the issue further through consultation with the Working Group; • Advising the person concerned to use the appropriate complaints procedure. The PPF support team will be responsible for ensuring feedback is provided to the person/group that made the original contact. For Terms of Reference see Appendix IV.
Public Consultation duration 6 weeks public comments are sought on the Report on Progress with Implementation of the Regional Forest Agreement for the South-West Forest Region of Western Australia with respect to the milestones, commitments and obligations of the WA RFA and in the context of the proposed extension of the WA RFA the Parties collate written public submissions and provide them to the Independent Reviewer.
Public Consultation. The Trust will assist and support the Managing Agent with public consultation and the answering of questions about the Trust and the Site(s), in a manner agreed with the Managing Agent.
Public Consultation. All Category A and Category B1 projects or activities have to undertake public consultation except for six activities for which public consultation has been exempted. Some of the projects exempted include expansion of roads and highways, modernization of irrigation projects, etc. Some of these may have potential social and environmental impacts. The project proponent has to write to SPCB to conduct public hearing. The state boards would be responsible for publishing notices for environmental public hearings in at least two newspapers widely circulated in the region around the project, one of which shall be in the vernacular language of the locality concerned. The responsibility for conducting the public hearing still lies with the state PCBs. The public consultation will essentially consist of two components—a public hearing to ascertain the views of local people and obtaining written responses of interested parties. The notification makes provision that MoEF shall promptly display the summary of draft EIA report on its website and also make the full draft EIA available in the ministry’s library at New Delhi for reference. This was not a part of the earlier notification. The SPCBs or Union Territory Pollution Control Committee shall arrange to video film the entire proceedings. This was also absent in the earlier notification and may be considered as a good move to ensure that public hearing is proper. Public Consultation. 3.1 Before the proposed by-law is finalized, Xxxxxx shall publicly consult on the proposed by-law on Ontario’s Regulatory Registry for such a period of time as is specified for ministries in the Government in Ontario’s Burden Reduction Directive (or any successor directive).
Public Consultation. The Corporation will undertake public consultation. The Project proposal was already presented to the Traffic and Transport Committee of Yau Tsim Mong District Council. Consultation will be continued throughout the preliminary and detailed design as well as the construction stage.
