Public and Product Liability Insurance. The Employer will maintain Public and Product Liability insurance that adequately covers all Employees for all aspects of their work, including work carried out for the Employer under the individual’s licence. Where the Employer does not maintain adequate insurance, and a claim is made against an Employee, the Employer will indemnify the individual concerned. TRAINING AND RELATED MATTERS This clause applies to training other than apprenticeship training or an equivalent contract for training. All parties covered by this Agreement acknowledge the changing pace of technology in the industry and the need for the Employer and Employees to understand those changes and have the necessary skill requirements to keep the Employer at the forefront of the industry. Where it is agreed by the Employer that additional training should be taken by an Employee, that training may be undertaken either on or off the job. Where courses are available during normal working hours, the Employee has first option of attending training at these times without loss of pay. If practicable, training will be provided on site to minimise down time and costs to the Employer. Where the Employer requires the Employee to attend training and the training can only be provided out of hours, the Employee will be paid at ordinary rates for all time required to complete the training. The Employer must consider the Employee’s individual circumstances before making training outside hours mandatory. All reasonable cost associated with training, including meals, accommodation and course fees, will be paid by the Employer.

Xxxxx’x Lunch Service, Inc., shall be named as additionally insured. Prior to entering into this agreement, Customer shall furnish to Xxxxx’x Lunch Service, Inc., certificates of insurance evidencing such insurance and containing the provision that no cancellation or material change in the policies shall become effective except on at least thirty (30) days prior written notice thereof to Xxxxx’x Lunch Service, Inc.. Xxxxx’x Lunch Service, Inc. must approve any deviation from this policy in writing. Worker’s Compensation Insurance: Customer will maintain a worker’s compensation Policy in the amount of $1,000,000/whenever Customer has employees, as required by law. Xxxxx’x Lunch Service, Inc. shall be named as additional insured.
