PTO Leave. Personal Time Off (PTO) is defined as absence used for illness, bereavement, adoption, religious holidays, personal use and paid child care leave. Personal Time Off does not include such absences as jury duty (Section 3), FMLA and unpaid child care leave.

PTO Leave. PTO leave is earned by regular full-time employees of Yakima County as described below for each month of completed service. Regular part-time employees earn PTO leave on a pro-rated basis according to the hours budgeted for the position. PTO leave is not available to the employee until after having served thirty (30) consecutive days of employment.
PTO Leave. All provisions of Article 10 of the Agreement shall apply to nine (9) hour staff.
PTO Leave. The Superintendent shall be allowed eleven (11) working days of PTO leave each contract year. Carry over PTO can accumulate up to 50 sick days.
PTO Leave. For purposes of PTO, Xxxxxx shall be considered to be beginning his 20 year of service with the City on his initial date of employment and he shall accrue PTO as a rate appropriate thereto currently 256.40 hours annually. Effective upon Xxxxxx’x first day of employment, Xxxxxx shall be credited with 80 hours of PTO.
PTO Leave. Administrators shall be entitled to an accumulation of twenty-two (22) paid time off (PTO) days per year. Each administrator shall be entitled to an accumulation for the unused portion of each year's PTO leave not to exceed 215 days. However, any teacher becoming an administrator may carry over any unused sick days but may not accumulate any additional days if he/she has accumulated more than 215. Vested administrators are those with ten (10) or more continuous years, regardless of position, in the district. Vested administrators will be paid the current administrative substitute pay ($118) per day for accrued unused PTO leave up to 172 days upon termination of employment. Administrators may participate in PTO leave donation, in accordance with the following: • The Association shall establish and administer a voluntary PTO leave bank for the benefit of administrators. • When an administrator has exhausted their PTO leave and a catastrophic incident has occurred, an administrator may request voluntary donations of PTO leave days from other Association members. The administrator/or their representative will approach the Administrators Association President in writing, requesting PTO leave contributions. The Professional Negotiations Team will administer the donated PTO leave bank. • Association members will be able to donate PTO leave to the requesting administrator’s PTO leave bank. This donation will be on a completely voluntary and anonymous basis. If the PTO leave donations are not used, the unused remaining days will revert back to the donating administrators – one day at a time in the order received. • The Board shall in no way be responsible for the allocation of days to administrators or for naming or indicating the administrators who should donate days to the PTO leave bank. Such matters shall be the sole and separate responsibility of the Association. No grievance shall be filed by the Association or any administrator on any matters which are specifically made the responsibility of the Association and not the Board. The Association agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Board for any damages incurred by the Board with respect to the matters made solely the responsibility of the Association and not the Board. Up to five (5) of the annual twenty-two (22) PTO days that are not used may be cashed in at the conclusion of the fiscal year at a rate of $118 per day.

  • FMLA Leave FMLA leave may be used for:

  • Health Leave Any regular employee of the District may, at the discretion of the Board, be granted a leave of absence without pay for reasons of health, such leave to be specified for a period of not more than one year. Such leave may be extended in case of serious health conditions.

  • Xxxx Leave For laid off employees, sick leave accruals shall remain on the books and be reinstated if such employees are reappointed. Whenever a person becomes ineligible for reemployment and such person has not been re-employed, then, if at the point of layoff such person was eligible to receive a sick leave accrual payoff, such person shall be paid for existing sick leave accruals in accordance with Section 1408 of this Agreement.

  • Maternity Leave (a) An employee is entitled to maternity leave of up to 17 weeks without pay.

  • Mourner's Leave One (1) day's leave shall be granted without loss of pay or wages to attend a funeral as a pallbearer.

  • Donor Leave An employee shall be granted the necessary leave of absence with pay for the purpose of donating bone marrow or an organ.

  • Casual Leave (a) Employees may be granted casual leave with pay to a maximum of two (2) hours for the following purposes:

  • Xxxxx’s leave (1) An employee is entitled to use up to 10 days accrued personal leave each year to care for a member of his or her immediate family or a member of his or her household who is ill and requires his or her care. The employee is not entitled to take xxxxx’s leave for a particular period if another person has taken leave to care for the person for the same period.

  • Paternity Leave (a) An employee will provide to the employer at least ten weeks prior to each proposed period of paternity leave, with:

  • Carer’s Leave An employee may use up to 10 days accrued sick days as carers leave to tend to the care for members of the employee’s immediate household. The leave will be subject to the employee providing reasonable proof of the need for the use of xxxxx’s leave. In circumstances where the employee has exhausted all of the paid leave, a further 2 days unpaid leave may be taken.
