Provisioning of Line Sharing and Splitter Space Sample Clauses

The Provisioning of Line Sharing and Splitter Space clause defines the responsibilities and procedures for allocating physical space and equipment necessary to enable multiple service providers to share a single telecommunications line. Typically, this involves designating areas within a central office or network facility for the installation of splitters, which separate voice and data signals, and ensuring that both incumbent and competitive providers have access to these resources. The core function of this clause is to facilitate competition and efficient use of infrastructure by clearly outlining how shared access is managed and maintained, thereby preventing disputes and service interruptions.
