Provisional Employee. Definition: An employee who has not completed a probationary period and who has not been appointed to his/her present class from an eligible list.
Provisional Employee. A support employee who does not meet the definition of Regular Part- Time, Regular Full-Time, Temporary Full-Time or Temporary Part-Time Employee. This group of employees does not qualify for benefits beyond those legally required.
Provisional Employee. The seniority of a provisional employee, as such, shall date from the time the employee last qualified as a provisional employee.
Provisional Employee. The words "provisional employee" when used in this Agreement shall apply to an employee engaged in temporary service for the City who has worked the required hours pursuant to Article 18-Employee Status of this Agreement.
Provisional Employee. An employee employed for a period of time which will equal or exceed one (1) academic year with the duration of their appointment contingent upon the continuation of the program and the availability of funds.
Provisional Employee. 3.4.1. An employee appointed by the Sheriff in accordance with Civil Service Rules and Regulations for a defined period of time.
Provisional Employee. 24.03 Fringe Benefit Entitlement Part-time employees shall be entitled to all benefits commensurate with their status as temporary or provisional employees, except that payment received for such benefits shall be governed by the following:
Provisional Employee. A provisional Employee is a full-time or part-time benefit-eligible employee. All provisional positions are contingent upon the continuation of the program and/or availability of funds. Employees in provisional positions hired before 7/1/14 have the same rights and responsibilities as regular bargaining unit employees. Employees hired into or bidding into, provisional positions on or after 7/1/14 who have not completed three years’ service in that provisional position may only bump other provisional employees
Provisional Employee. OP4-2 An employee who is employed for a period of time which will equal or exceed one (1) academic year with the duration of their appointment contingent upon the continuation of the program and the availability of funds subject to appropriate provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. All provisional positions at the time of ratification of this agreement will retain their bumping rights under Article OP-23, subject to the limitations in Appendix F. Part-Time Employee OP4-3 A part-time employee is an employee who has completed a probationary period and is scheduled to work less than forty (40) hours per week and at least twenty (20) hours per week (see OP 3-3 for method used to prorate benefits contributions for eligible part-time employees).
Provisional Employee. New employees to the district with less than two years of K-12 certificated experience are in provisional status for up to three (3) years. New employees to the district with at least two years of K-12 certificated experience in another district are subject to provisional status for no more than one (1) year. All classroom teachers in provisional status shall be on the comprehensive evaluation as required by statute.
