Common use of Provision Clause in Contracts

Provision. A unit member shall be entitled, upon request, to three (3) days of paid leave each academic year, for the purpose of improving performance providing:  The unit member has received advance approval from the appropriate administrator, and  Such leave can be scheduled within the department so that the assignment of the member can be covered without the hiring of a substitute and at no additional cost to the District.
