Provider Training. PROVIDER agrees to obtain, at its own expense, ongoing training, and supervision according to applicable medical, mental health and substance use disorder practices and the licensing, credentialing or other qualifications policies, procedures or regulations of the State of Michigan and/or MSHN as outlined in Attachment G - MSHN Training Requirements. PROVIDER shall furnish a written summary of such training and supervision efforts to MSHN upon request.
Provider Training. Provider’s primary contact as identified in Section 7.7 or designee (so long as the designee is employed by Provider or an Affiliated Provider) and any updated primary contact or designee (as updated pursuant to Section 7.7) shall complete a training course covering Provider’s obligations under ICANN policies and agreements. Contractor shall ensure that Network Provider training relates to Cal MediConnect services-including but not limited to the care coordination benefit, policies, procedures and any modifications to existing services, policies or procedures. Training shall include methods for sharing information among Contractor, Network Provider, Enrollee and/or other healthcare professionals. Contractor shall conduct training for all Network Providers within thirty (30) working days after the Contractor places a newly contracted provider on active status. Contractor shall ensure that Network Provider training includes information on all Enrollee rights including the right to full disclosure of health care information and the right to actively participate in health care decisions. The Contractor will maintain policies and procedures on Advance Directives pursuant to 42 C.F.R. §§ 422.128, 438.3(j), and 489.102, and will educate its Network Providers concerning its policies and procedures on Advance Directives. Contractor shall ensure that ongoing training is conducted when deemed necessary by either the Contractor, CMS, or DHCS.

Training shall include methods for sharing information between Contractor, provider, Member and/or other healthcare professionals. Contractor shall conduct training for all providers within 10 working days after the Contractor places a newly contracted provider on active status. Contractor shall ensure that provider training includes, but is not limited to, information on all Member rights specified in Exhibit A, Attachment 13, Member Services, including the right to full disclosure of health care information and the right to actively participate in health care decisions. Contractor shall ensure that ongoing training is conducted when deemed necessary by either the Contractor or DHCS.
Provider Training. The COHE will provide initial and on-going office staff. The goal of training is to increase adherence to occupational health best practices, knowing how they can contribute to minimizing needless disability, promoting function, and facilitating return-to-work. Provider training includes: 1) an orientation for each new provider, and, 2) on-going training. If a training is not conducted in person, the COHE must use a system or technology (such as a virtual meeting application or learning management system) that allows for tracking and verification of provider participation.
