Protective Clothing. 14.1 The Employer will be required to provide the following protective equipment (SAA approved) for use, when necessary, by employees during the performance of their required duties:
Protective Clothing. The Enterprise will ensure that employees are in possession of protective clothing in accordance with this Clause. Overalls or trousers of the following types and quantities:
Protective Clothing. The Employer shall supply suitable gloves or other protective clothing to employees required by the Employer to wear same and/or where the WCB requires the Employer to provide same.
Protective Clothing. (a) Protective clothing is understood to mean wearing apparel which protects the employee's clothing from excessive dirt, grease, sparks or chemicals.
Protective Clothing. The Hospital agrees to continue its present practices with respect to the provision of protective clothing and safety devices to employees. The Hospital further agrees to meet directly with the representative of the Union or through the Accident Prevention Committee to discuss the need for any protective clothing or safety equipment in addition to that which the Hospital is presently providing.
Protective Clothing. The Employer shall provide adequate protective clothing where the need arises.
Protective Clothing. (1) Where employees are required to work in water they shall be supplied with rubber boots.
Protective Clothing. A. When the State requires protective clothing to be worn, the State shall provide the protective clothing. Employees or the Union may request the issuance of protective clothing.
Protective Clothing. The Hospital agrees to continue its present practices with respect to the provisions of protective clothing and safety devices to employees, subject to the provisions set out below with respect to safety footwear. The Hospital further agrees to meet directly with representatives of the Union or through the Accident Prevention Committee to discuss the need for any pro- tective clothing or safety equipment in addition to that which the Hospital is presently providing. Effective September and on that date for each sub- sequent year, the Hospital will provide per year to each full time employee who is required by the Hospital to wear safety footwear during the course of his duties.
Protective Clothing. The City shall provide each employee a National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) approved protective clothing ensemble, excluding the station uniform, appropriate for the duties to which the employee is assigned. (That is Structural Firefighting, Crash Fire Rescue, Hazardous Materials Suits, etc.). The protective clothing when issued shall be the property of the City and upon resignation, termination, or retirement shall be returned to the City. Failure to do so shall result in a deduction to final paycheck settlement. Specifications for protective clothing to be developed by Local #644 President, Fire Department Safety Committee, and Fire Chief. Final authority for adoption of specifications for turnout gear rests with the Fire Chief.
