Protection of Privacy. and obligation of confidentiality It is assumed that the information which the companies are asked to provide and document on pay and working conditions are made adequately anonymous and do not violate the law. The company's requirements as regards for instance questions of competition may entail that the information should not be passed on. In such cases the employer may impose an obligation of confidentiality on employee representatives and any advisors. The obligation of confidentiality also applies after the end of the term of office of the person. There is no obligation of confidentiality in connection with passing on information to the appropriate public authority.
