Protection of Animals. The Recipient agrees to comply with the requirements of the Laboratory Animal Welfare Act of 1966, as amended, 7 U.S.C. §§ 2131 et seq., and U.S. Department of Agriculture regulations, “Animal Welfare,” 9 C.F.R. Subchapter A, Parts 1, 2, 3, and 4 pertaining to the care, handling, and treatment of warm blooded animals involved in Project research, development, and related activities.
Protection of Animals. Protective fences must be provided along both sides of the highway in places where animals are likely to cross. Inasmuch as such animals must be kept away from the roadway, special places must be provided for them to cross.
Protection of Animals. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that all third-party contractors providing services involving the use of animals must comply with the Animal Welfare Act, 7 U.S.C. Sections 2131 et seq. and Department of Agriculture regulations, “Animal Welfare,” 9 CFR Subchapter A, Parts 1,2,3, and 4.

Protection of Animals. By signing this agreement or accepting funds under this agreement, the Recipient assures that it will comply with applicable provisions of the following national policies concerning animals: (a) Rules on animal acquisition, transport, care, handling, and use in 9 CFR Parts 1-4, Department of Agriculture Rules implementing the Laboratory Animal Welfare Act of 1966 (7 U.S.C. 2131-2156), and guidelines in the national Academy of Sciences (NAS) “Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals” (1996), including the Public Health Service Policy and Government Principles Regarding the Care and Use of Animals in Appendix D to the guide, (b) Prohibitions on the purchase or use of dogs or cats for certain medical training purposes, in Section 8019 (10 U.S.C. 2241 note) of the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 1991 (Pub. Law 101-511), (c) Rules of the Departments of Interior (50 CFR Parts 10-24) and Commerce (50 CFR Parts 217-227) implementing laws and conventions on the taking, possession, transport, purchase, sale, export, or import of wildlife and plants, including the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (16 U.S.C. 1531-1543), Marine Mammal Protection Act (16 US.C. 1361-1384), Lacey Act (18 U.S.C. 42) and Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, (d) DoD Directive 3216.1, (e) SECNAVINST 3900.38C, (f) NIH Guidelines for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and all other applicable regulatory compliance. The use of non-human primates is prohibited and funds shall not be used toward non- human primate use unless the Recipient has received prior approval of its non-human primate efforts under this Cooperative Agreement by the Grants Officer. The Recipient shall include this clause in all subawards.

  • Protection of Human Subjects The Recipient agrees to comply with the requirements of the National Research Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. §§ 289 et seq., and U.S. DOT regulations, “Protection of Human Subjects,” 49 C.F.R. Part 11, pertaining to protections for human subjects participating in or involved in research, development, and activities related to the Project.

  • Protection of Customer Data The Supplier shall not delete or remove any proprietary notices contained within or relating to the Customer Data. The Supplier shall not store, copy, disclose, or use the Customer Data except as necessary for the performance by the Supplier of its obligations under this Call Off Contract or as otherwise Approved by the Customer. To the extent that the Customer Data is held and/or Processed by the Supplier, the Supplier shall supply that Customer Data to the Customer as requested by the Customer and in the format (if any) specified by the Customer in the Call Off Order Form and, in any event, as specified by the Customer from time to time in writing. The Supplier shall take responsibility for preserving the integrity of Customer Data and preventing the corruption or loss of Customer Data. The Supplier shall perform secure back-ups of all Customer Data and shall ensure that up-to-date back-ups are stored off-site at an Approved location in accordance with any BCDR Plan or otherwise. The Supplier shall ensure that such back-ups are available to the Customer (or to such other person as the Customer may direct) at all times upon request and are delivered to the Customer at no less than six (6) Monthly intervals (or such other intervals as may be agreed in writing between the Parties). The Supplier shall ensure that any system on which the Supplier holds any Customer Data, including back-up data, is a secure system that complies with the Security Policy and the Security Management Plan (if any). If at any time the Supplier suspects or has reason to believe that the Customer Data is corrupted, lost or sufficiently degraded in any way for any reason, then the Supplier shall notify the Customer immediately and inform the Customer of the remedial action the Supplier proposes to take. If the Customer Data is corrupted, lost or sufficiently degraded as a result of a Default so as to be unusable, the Supplier may: require the Supplier (at the Supplier's expense) to restore or procure the restoration of Customer Data to the extent and in accordance with the requirements specified in Call Off Schedule 8 (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) or as otherwise required by the Customer, and the Supplier shall do so as soon as practicable but not later than five (5) Working Days from the date of receipt of the Customer’s notice; and/or itself restore or procure the restoration of Customer Data, and shall be repaid by the Supplier any reasonable expenses incurred in doing so to the extent and in accordance with the requirements specified in Call Off Schedule 8 (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) or as otherwise required by the Customer.   • Protection from Unauthorized Use Licensee shall secure that Participating Institutions will use reasonable efforts to restrict access to the Licensed Materials to Authorized Users.

  • PROTECTION OF WORK 12.1 Subcontractor shall effectually secure and protect the work done hereunder and assume full responsibility for the condition thereof until final acceptance by the OWNER and Contractor. Subcontractor further agrees to provide such protection as is necessary to protect the work and the workmen of Contractor, the OWNER, and other subcontractors from its operations.

  • Service Animals Humber Residences acknowledges the rights of persons with disabilities to retain their service animal while living in Residence. In order to preserve the health and safety of all people and animals living or working in the Residence environment, the Resident will notify the Residence Office that they require a service animal and will provide documentation as outlined in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act confirming that the Resident requires the service animal. The Resident will also complete a Service Animal Agreement with the Residence Manager or designate, and agrees to adhere to the requirements within it.

  • Protection of Personal Data 25.1 The Parties agree that they may obtain and have access to personal data for the duration of the Agreement for the fulfilment of the rights and obligations contained herein. In performing the obligations as set out in this Agreement, the Parties shall at all times ensure that:

  • Animals The Hirer shall ensure that no animals (including birds) except guide dogs are brought into the premises, other than for a special event agreed to by the Village Hall. No animals whatsoever are to enter the kitchen at any time.

  • Pets and Animals Except for service animals as defined in law, Resident shall maintain no pets or animals (including mammals, reptiles, birds, fish, rodents and insects) upon the premises, nor allow visitors or guests to do so, other than: (Pets’ Name). In consideration for the community allowing Resident to maintain such said pet Resident shall pay a $750.00 Non-Refundable Pet fee. In addition there will be a $50.00 pet fee charged each month.

  • Protection of Trade Secrets or Confidential Information If the Contractor considers any portion of materials made or received in the course of performing the Contract (“contract-related materials”) to be trade secret under section 688.002 or 812.081, F.S., or otherwise confidential under Florida or federal law, the Contractor must clearly designate that portion of the materials as trade secret or otherwise confidential when submitted to the Department. The Contractor will be responsible for responding to and resolving all claims for access to contract-related materials it has designated trade secret or otherwise confidential. If the Department is served with a request for discovery of contract-related materials designated by the Contractor as trade secret or otherwise confidential, the Contractor will be responsible for filing the appropriate motion or objection in response to the request for discovery. The Department will provide materials designated trade secret or otherwise confidential if the Contractor fails to take appropriate and timely action to protect the materials designated as trade secret or otherwise confidential. The Contractor will protect, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Department for claims, costs, fines, and attorney’s fees arising from or relating to its designation of contract-related materials as trade secret or otherwise confidential.
