Protected Class Status. ‌ The provisions of this Agreement shall be applied equally to all employees in the bargaining unit without discrimination as to age, sex, marital status, sexual preference, race, color, creed, disability, national origin, political affiliation, gender identity, familial status, or religion or as defined by statute or Court Rule. The Union shall share equally with the Employer the responsibility for applying this provision of the Agreement. When a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act is necessary and the accommodation conflicts with any provision of the Agreement, the Employer and the Union shall meet and confer prior to the implementation of the accommodation.

  • Partial Employer Contribution - Basic Eligibility The following employees covered by this Agreement receive the full Employer Contribution for basic life coverage, and at the employee's option, a partial Employer Contribution for health and dental coverages if they are scheduled to work at least fifty (50) percent but less than seventy-five (75) percent of the time. If you are a member of the Armed Forces serving in a combat zone, hazardous duty area, or contingency operation, you may have an extended contribution deadline of 180 days after the last day served in the area. In addition, your contribution deadline for a particular tax year is also extended by the number of days that remained to file that year’s tax return as of the date you entered the combat zone. This additional extension to make your IRA contribution cannot exceed the number of days between January 1 and your tax filing deadline, not including extensions.

  • Ineligible Items You agree that you will not use this Service to deposit any ineligible items, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Reemployment in Same Class Following Layoff An employee who has acquired permanent status in a position and who is laid off because of lack of work or funds and is re-employed in the same class after such layoff shall be paid the salary step attained prior to layoff.
