Common use of Property of the City Clause in Contracts

Property of the City. All documents, reports, and research gathered or prepared by Contractor under this Agreement, including but not limited to daily logs, monthly reports, any report required by the Scope of Work, spreadsheets, charts, graphs, modeling, maps, data generation, papers, diaries, and inspection reports, shall be the exclusive property of the City and shall be delivered to the City prior to final payment. Any statutory or common law rights to such property held by Contractor as creator of such work shall be conveyed to the City upon request without additional compensation.
