Proof of Absence. The Superintendent shall require the teacher to furnish a signed statement to the effect that absence was caused by illness or due to any of the foregoing causes. He/she may require the name of the physician and the date he/she was consulted if medical attention was required. Falsification of such a statement shall be grounds for disciplinary action, including dismissal.
Proof of Absence a) An employee may be required to provide satisfactory proof of the reasons for an absence lasting three (3) or more consecutive work days.
