Proof of Clause Examples
A "Proof of" clause requires one party to provide evidence or documentation verifying a particular fact, event, or compliance with an obligation under the agreement. This may involve submitting receipts, certificates, or other records to demonstrate that a condition has been met, such as proof of insurance coverage or completion of a service. The core function of this clause is to ensure transparency and accountability between the parties by requiring verifiable confirmation, thereby reducing the risk of disputes over whether contractual requirements have been fulfilled.
