Promotional Period. All current District employees selected for a 7 promotional position in a class with a higher maximum rate of pay shall 8 serve a probationary period of eight (8) months from the date of hire as a 9 probationary employee in the new classification. 10 11 This is effective for all current District employees hired into a promotional 12 position with an effective date of October 1, 2013 and later. 13
