However, where two (2) or more employees have indicated their interest in the same promotion or transfer, then the employee with the most seniority shall be given the promotion or transfer, provided she/he has the ability to perform the job. It is understood that a request made by the Employer or an employee for any promotion or transfer resulting in a geographical move shall not be unreasonably denied.
