Project Understanding. This project is understood to be the replacement of one (1) hydraulic elevator. The project delivery system is understood to be Design−Bid. Our mechanical and electrical engineering services for this project will consist of the following. Services not indicated below are considered outside of our basic scope and will be provided upon request as an additional service. It is our understanding that the design of this project will include four (4) deliverables as defined below. The design duration for this project is estimated to be six (6) weeks (not including owner review).

Project Understanding. On the County’s Major Thoroughfare Plan (MTP) dated 2015, the intersection of the Grand Parkway to the Fort Bend Parkway is shown to be on property which has been purchased by a developer for Austin Point. A later revision to the MTP shows the intersection within the property of the Xxxxxx Ranch. Fort Bend County would like an evaluation of feasible alternative courses of action pertaining to County- owned transportation route options that would provide permanent access to properties owned by Xxxxxx Ranch and Austin Point Development. The evaluation, based on available data, would result in developing an independentBest Value to Fort Bend County” opinion that would be used in reaching a fair solution on the matter of highway access.

Project Understanding. The purpose of this study is to design plans for the traffic signalization for the intersection of Xxxxxx Road and Reading Road. The design includes peak hour traffic counts, traffic signal design, Synchro analysis, and general intersection lane marking recommendations.

Project Understanding. Our understanding of the Environmental Review for the Marinwood Plaza Project includes the following:  BRIDGE Housing Corporation, on behalf of the property owner, Marinwood Plaza, LLC, has submitted applications for a Master Plan, Precise Development Plan, Lot Line Adjustment, Lot Merger, and Right of Way Abandonment for the Marinwood Plaza site at 000 Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxx Xxxxxx. The approximately 5-acre Project site is just west of US 101 at the Marinwood exit, and currently consists of four separate lots. Existing development on the site includes a 33,514 square foot commercial building, a wireless facility, parking lot, utilities, and landscaping. The commercial building is occupied by the Marinwood Market and a liquor store. The Marinwood Xxxxxx’x Market operates on the site on a weekly basis throughout the year. The property is zoned CP (Planned Commercial) and the Countywide Plan Designation is GC HOD (General Commercial/Mixed Use with Housing Overlay District).  The applicant proposes to demolish about half of the existing commercial building and retain the remainder as the Marinwood Market. The existing liquor store would be relocated on site. The existing Xxxxxx’x Market is not included in the proposal and would be discontinued. The applicant would redevelop the site with residential, commercial, and mixed use buildings. The total building area proposed is 89,822 square feet, consisting of commercial space, market rate apartments, affordable apartments, landscaping and public open space amenities. A total of 82 housing units are proposed, and the new development would have a floor area ratio (FAR) of 0.41, compared to the current FAR of 0.15.  The Project site is identified in the Marin County Housing Element as a potential affordable housing site. Project Understanding. The City of Oceanside Water Utilities Department (City) is charged with executing a capital improvements program of approximately $317 million between Fiscal Year (FY) 2018/19 and FY 2020/21. The projects range from $10,000 projects to more than $30,000,000 projects and span the water, wastewater, and reclaimed water sectors. Projects include improvement and upgrade projects to proactively addressing maintenance and rehabilitation of infrastructure in accordance with the City’s asset management goals and new projects aimed at the expansion of local water supply, promotion of financial responsibility, and implementation of sustainable green infrastructure. Project Understanding. Based on the information obtained from the entitlement package prepared by our office, we understand the project as follows: The project is to provide an emergency repair of a failing storm drain line underneath the existing railroad platforms, tracks and a small portion of the parking lot at the Menlo Park Caltrain Station. Project Understanding. In 1997 Fort Bend County adopted its first parks Master Plan, called the Parks Master Plan and Needs Assessment, 1997 – 2017. In 2003, the Commissioners Court hired Xxxxxxx XX to develop a new parks master plan to meet the ever expanding need and growth of the county. A 5 year update to the 2003 plan was completed by Xxxxxxx XX in 2008. The goal of this update is to incorporate and map new county facilities into the overall parks inventory as well as provide and update to existing conditions assessments of all county managed parks. In addition, a public and elected official engagement phase will be conducted to survey the county park users to track current utilization as well as perceived need to assist in future park planning efforts. PROPOSED APPROACH FOR PLAN UPDATE Task OnePROJECT INITIATION AND ELECTED OFFICIAL INTERVIEWS • Conduct one (1) initial kick off meeting with Parks Director to confirm schedule, methodology (including public engagement, survey, GIS, updates and plan outline) and other pending discussion items relating to the Master Plan. • Conduct one (1) interview with County Judge to review the proposed activities of the Master Plan and to determine what his initial vision, goals, survey methodology and preferred outcome for the Master Plan Update will be. During this interview, Xxxxxxx XX (KLP) will work to determine what initiatives the judge would like to see enacted that may have relevance to this Master Plan and the future of the Parks program in Fort Bend County. • Conduct one (1) interview with each County Commissioner (four meetings total) to review the proposed activities of the Master Plan and to determine what each commissioner’s initial goals and preferred outcome for the Master Plan will be as it relates to their precinct. During these interviews, KLP will work to determine what initiatives each commissioner would like to see enacted that may have relevance to this Master Plan and the future of the Parks program in Fort Bend County. • Obtain available updated information, data, reports, and maps from various County Agencies.
