Upon completion of the project and prior to final acceptance, the Contractor shall submit the marked up set of project record documents to the Engineer for the City along with the “Contractor’s Certificate of Completion” found in Part IV of the bidding documents. After the Engineer has inspected the work and has determined it to be substantially complete, the City will initiate a “Certificate of Substantial Completion,” which will establish the date of commencement of the warranty period.
