Project Performance Monitoring System. 23. The Borrower shall cause UCSA to ensure that implementation of the Project, operation of the Project facilities and the benefits derived from the Project are monitored and evaluated annually by the PPMU. This includes establishing a PPMS within 6 months of the Effective Date and providing results for incorporation in the Project progress and completion reports.
Project Performance Monitoring System. 14. Within 3 months after the Effective Date, BR shall establish a Project Performance Monitoring System in line with the targets, indicators set in the Project’s design monitoring framework. Within 6 months of the Effective Date, the baseline data corresponding to indicators and targets set out in the Project status report shall be updated during the detailed design stage, disaggregated by income levels and sex as required. After the initial baseline survey, BR with support of the consultants, shall conduct annual survey and quarterly monitoring of indicators and submit quarterly report to ADB throughout Project implementation.
Project Performance Monitoring System. 17. The Borrower shall cause MOTC to establish a PPMS within six (6) months of the Effective Date and collect baseline data for performance monitoring. The key indicators and assumptions outlined at the impact and outcome levels in the Project design and monitoring framework will be the primary data required for analysis.
Project Performance Monitoring System. 18. The Beneficiary shall ensure that progress monitoring, safeguard monitoring and benefit monitoring and evaluation shall be carried out during Project implementation by the Project Executing Agency and the IAs. Post-evaluation shall be carried out three (3) years after Project completion. A Project Performance Management System (PPMS) shall be developed on the basis of the Project design and monitoring framework to examine the Project’s technical performance, evaluate delivery of Project facilities, assess achievement of Project objectives and measure the Project’s social, economic, financial and institutional impacts. Baseline and periodic surveys shall be carried out to collect data disaggregated by income group, gender, types of vulnerability and other characteristics as appropriate. Consultant services shall be provided to assist the Project Executing Agency and IAs to jointly develop and implement the PPMS.
Project Performance Monitoring System. 24. Within 3 months after the Effective Date, the State shall cause MP Transco and/or each DISCOM to establish a project performance monitoring system (PPMS) acceptable to ADB in line with the targets, indicators and procedures agreed with ADB. The State shall monitor the indicators according to the agreed framework on a semiannual basis to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the Project, and will provide ADB with quarterly reports until project completion.
Project Performance Monitoring System. 13. UCSA shall ensure that the implementation of the Project, the operation of the Project facilities, and the benefits derived from the Project are monitored and evaluated annually by the PMU. Within six (6) months of the Effective Date, a PPMS shall be established by UCSA. The establishment of baseline data and benchmarks, collection of information, monitoring and evaluation of benefits, and evaluation of social impact, shall be undertaken by the PMU with the consultants support. Data collection shall be carried out (a) prior to physical implementation of each subproject in conjunction with socioeconomic surveys, (b) regularly during Project implementation, and (c) for three (3) months after physical completion of the Project. The results shall be incorporated into the Project progress and completion reports.
Project Performance Monitoring System. 28. Within 3 months after the Effective Date, the MEE with the support of the PMU shall establish a PPMS in line with the targets and indicators set in the DMF. Within 12 months of the Effective Date, the baseline data corresponding to indicators and targets set out in the project status report shall be updated during the detailed design stage, disaggregated by income levels and gender as required.
Project Performance Monitoring System. 7. Within 6 months of the effectiveness of this Grant Agreement, the Recipient shall ensure that the Project Performance Monitoring System will have been established.

Within 6 months after the Effective Date, the EA shall establish through the PMU a PPMS acceptable to ADB in line with the targets, indicators and procedures agreed between the Borrower and ADB. The Borrower shall cause the State to monitor the indicators according to the agreed framework on a quarterly basis to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the Project, and will provide ADB with quarterly reports until project completion. Project Performance Monitoring System. 26. The State shall ensure that PMU establishes the a Project Performance Monitoring System (PPMS) acceptable to ADB to monitor indicators including (i) physical progress for infrastructure works, (ii) institutional development and capacity building, and (iii) impact assessment indicators. The State shall ensure that the PMU shall conduct initial baseline physical and socio-economic surveys and submit a detailed implementation plan for monitoring performance and for preparing benchmark information for ADB's review and concurrence within six months of the Effective Date. Thereafter, the PMU shall submit annual monitoring and evaluation reports to ADB throughout the Project implementation.
