The Union shall neither cause nor counsel its members, to strike, nor shall it in any manner cause them either directly or indirectly to commit any concerted acts of work stoppage, slowdown, or refusal to perform any customarily assigned duties for the City. However, whether or not the Union is liable for such acts, any employee who commits any of the acts prohibited in this section may be subject to the following penalties:

Engaging in any of this Activity shall be prohibited during the term of this Agreement and employees violating this prohibition shall be subject to such penalties the City deems appropriate.

Section 15.1 There shall be no interruption or impeding of the work, work stoppage, strike, slowdown or lockout during the term of this Agreement except that the Union shall have the right to strike only to resolve a grievance pursuant to Section 14.3 concerning an occupational description or hourly rate for a new or changed job classification, or in case the grievance involved an occupational classification created by breaking out a portion of a classification or combining two or more classifications, the reasonableness of the Company’s taking such action, in the event it strictly complies with the following procedure:
PROHIBITION OF STRIKES AND LOCKOUTS. 8.01 The Union hereby agrees that neither the Union or any of the employees forming part of the bargaining unit covered by this Agreement shall indirectly authorize, assist, encourage, or in any way engage or participate in strikes of any kind. For the purposes of this Agreement, the term strike shall include a slowdown, sit-down, walk- out, interruption or stoppage of work.
PROHIBITION OF STRIKES AND LOCKOUTS. A. The Union, for itself, its agents, representatives and members, agrees that, during the term of this Agreement, neither it nor they will directly or indirectly instigate, finance, participate in and/or assist any strike , slow down, work stoppage, non-informational picketing, call-ins, failure to report to work or interference of any kind with the Library’s operations, deliveries and suppliers, whether the same be in connection with a dispute between the Union and the Library, or between the Union and any other union with any other employer, or between the Library and any other union or organization, group or individual.
PROHIBITION OF STRIKES AND LOCKOUTS. The Union agrees that during the terms of this Agreement there shall be no strikes (economic, unfair labor practice, or otherwise), picketing, stoppage or slowdowns of work by the Union or any of its members, and the Employer agrees that during the term of this Agreement there shall be no lockouts by the Employer.
