Prohibited Conduct by Employer Or. Rev. Stat. §§ 659A.199, .885 This statute prohibits an employer from discharging, demoting, suspending, discriminating against or retaliating against an employee for the reason that the employee in good faith reported information that the employee believes to be evidence of a violation of a state or federal law or regulation. An aggrieved employee may file a civil action for equitable relief, which may include reinstatement, back pay, damages and reimbursement of litigation costs. OHA Contract Provisions
