The programme may include activities to develop research management.

Education and school attendance shall also be included in the Programme. The Cooperation committee shall include member(s) representing the relevant public institution(s) in charge of the policy area in question.

Schengen Cooperation and Combating Cross-border and Organised Crime, including Trafficking and Itinerant Criminal Groups Programme: Schengen Cooperation and Combating Cross-border and Organised Crime, including Trafficking and Itinerant Criminal Groups Programme grant: €6,000,000 Objective: Increase citizen’s security through improvement of cooperation between law enforcement authorities in the Schengen Member States and Bulgaria in fighting organised crime, including trafficking in human beings Outcomes: Development and improvement of structures, systems and technical equipment in order to improve the implementation of the Schengen acquis Strengthening of cooperation between the police in the Schengen Member States Improved capacity to combat cross-border and organized crime, including trafficking in human beings and itinerant criminal groups Improved coordination between the authorities and relevant stakeholders, including non-governmental organisation, in assisting victims of trafficking

Public Health Initiatives Programme: Public Health Initiatives Programme grant: € 5,560,000 Objective: Improved public health and reduced health inequalities Outcome(s): To be discussed between the Donor States and Bulgaria Programme Operator: To be decided Specific concerns: The Programme should focus on reproductive health, childcare, mental health, improvement of governance in healthcare and specific health challenges for the Roma. The programme shall be implemented jointly with the Programme under the programme area ‘Public Health Initiatives’ in the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.

Funds for Non‐governmental Organisations Programme: Fund for Non‐governmental Organisations Objective: Strengthened civil society development and enhanced contribution to social justice, democracy and sustainable development Programme grant: € 5,800,000 Programme Operator: The Financial Mechanism Office is entrusted with operating the programme in line with article 5.13 of the Regulation.

Green Industry Innovation Programme: Green Industry Innovation Expected outcomes: Realisation of business opportunities of greening the European economy; increased green job creation and entrepreneurship Programme grant: € 11,328,000 Programme Operator: Ministry of Economy Donor Programme Partner: Innovation Norway Main focus: The Programme is aimed at establishing an Incubator for Green Industry Innovation. This shall serve as a bridging facility between green entrepreneurs and the market place. A re‐granting scheme shall be included in the programme.

Programme Area. The Programme shall be implemented in the following ten counties/districts in Sichuan and Ningxia provinces: Cangxi, Xuanhan, Guang’an, Xuzhou (previously Yibin at design), and Yilong in Sichuan and Pengyang, Yuanzhou, Sunjiatan, Hongsipu and Xingqing in Ningxia. The Programme shall specifically target poor townships and villages (i.e. townships or villages whose poverty incidence is higher than the average poverty incidence in the county) in the identified Programme area.
