Common use of Program Guidelines Clause in Contracts

Program Guidelines. Prior to the selection of Program beneficiaries for each Program, Subrecipient shall provide to the GLO, for GLO review and approval, a copy of its proposed guidelines for the Program. The guidelines must meet or exceed the requirements in the Federal Registers. The guidelines must include provisions for compliance with the Federal Fire Prevention and Control Act of 1974 (which requires that any housing unit rehabilitated with grant funds be protected by a hard-wired or battery-operated smoke detector) and provisions for compliance with 24 CFR 35 (HUD lead-based paint regulation), as applicable.
