Professional Negotiation. The Board and the Association agree to negotiate in good faith pursuant to Section 10- 153d of the Connecticut General Statues as amended, in accordance with the procedure set forth therein, to secure a Successor Agreement relative to all matters concerning salaries, hours as defined therein and other conditions of employment. The Agreement, so negotiated, shall be reduced to writing and shall be signed by the Board and the Association.

Professional Negotiation. A. Not later than 180 days prior to the annual budget meeting date (1st Monday in May) of the year preceding the expiration date of this Agreement, the Board and the Association agree to negotiate a Successor Agreement in accordance with the procedure set forth in good-faith effort to reach agreement concerning salaries and all other conditions of employment. During direct negotiations, the Board and the Association shall present relevant data, exchange points of view and make proposals and counter-proposals. Either party may, if it so desires, utilize the services of outside consultants and may call upon professional and lay representatives to assist in the negotiations.
